TRIPP: Meditation in VR

TRIPP is a virtual reality experience helping to practice meditation. Tripp projects yourself into psychedelic environments in VR.

Meditation in Virtual Reality

Tripp will help you and the child find calm, focus and develop emotional resilience. There is a free and a paid version. You will be asked to answer a survey before and after so that you can measure the impact of the experience on your state of mind.

Tripp: how does it works in VR?

The design of the TRIPP experience leverages a large body of existing research on the use of technology in the mental wellness arena and utilizes proven mindfulness structures, targeted sound frequencies, visuals and interactions that have a multiplicative effect when administered through the immersion of VR.

For teaching

👍 TRIPP : Pros

+ Effective for adults and children

+ The free version allows to have a good overview of the experience

+ A red light stream seems to come out of your mouth when you exhale and similarly, a blue light stream, when you inhale.

👎 TRIPP : Cons

– Up to four people can use the same TRIPP account.

– There is no functionality to toggle between users. This means all the session data and usage would be tracked under one account and there is only one login. If you want to track individual people’s usage, you will need to create multiple TRIPP accounts.
