👓📱 recently, more and more prototypes of augmented/mixed reality glasses are announced, like last week with the Nreal light.
Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has just announced its “Oppo AR Glass 2021”. Oppo made augmented reality glasses last year, that may have looked like more a mini HoloLens headset than real pairs of glasses.
However, the latest version of Oppo AR Glass has been completely revised to look more like sunglasses. Coupled with a smartphone, these glasses will carry different sensors and cameras to position 3D objects with more precision. They will allow to have the equivalent of a screen of 90 cm to 3 meters.
