🏃♂️🕶️ Virtuix recently announced its future VR treadmill, “the Omni One”.
Available from 2021, this compact “omnidirectional treadmill simulator” will allow users to move around in VR just like in real life, or almost.
It will thus be possible to walk, run, squat, kneel or even jump in the VR in a safe way.
The concept of free movement is not new and Virtuix had already caused a sensation with the Omni Virtuix which is the most widely used VR treadmill in VR center today.
What if we used it for education?
This VR experience brings you in a bomber crew during a raid over Berlin in WW2. The Vr experience is based on a real audio footage from 1943!
