Le haut de gamme des casques PCVR

The HTC Vive Pro 2 headset is a VR headset that must be used with a PC.

The Vive Pro 2 offers a pair of RGB LCD screens that provide a cumulative definition of 4896 x 2448 pixels. It competes directly with the Valve Index and the HP Reverb G2.

Compared to the original Vive pro, the definition has almost doubled which greatly improves the quality of images and removes the effect of grid thanks to the LCD screens. This headset promises an impressive gain in sharpness.

HTC goes further by also offering a refresh rate of 120Hz, 3D sound, and thanks to a new dual lens system, a field of view of 120 °. The HTC Vive Pro 2 goes upmarket to offer greater immersion.

In terms of design, this Vive Pro 2 is similar to the original Vive Pro. It retains the comfort of the lens distance adjustment as well as an IPD (interpupillary distance adjustment), adjustable headphones and strap.

Finally, it is compatible with Vive Pro and SteamVR accessories.

Available for pre-order, the Vive Pro 2 will be distributed starting June 3. HTC offers the headset alone at a price of 739 euros and the complete kit with Base Station 2.0 and controllers at 1399 euros.
