Available from 2021, this compact “omnidirectional treadmill simulator” will allow users to move around in VR just like in real life, or almost.
It will thus be possible to walk, run, squat, kneel or even jump in the VR in a safe way.
The concept of free movement is not new and Virtuix had already caused a sensation with the Omni Virtuix which is the most widely used VR treadmill in VR center today.
